Promotional campaign for International Women’s Day #TimesUp by Prestige Group
Tokio Restaurant Bar, as a member of Prestige Group and within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, has designed and implemented a bespoke successful awareness campaign for International Women’s Day on 8 March. The basic narrative of this campaign was focused on the global campaigns of #PressForProgress (official campaign slogan for International Women’s Day 2018) and #TimesUp (official international funding programme for access to legal aid for victims experiencing sexual harassment at the workplace and for the advancement of women in senior leadership and closing the gender pay gap).
Through the support of all actions promoted by #TimesUp as well as supporting women’s rights and issues women are asked to deal with daily, Tokio Restaurant Bar proceeded with the design and printing of #TimesUp hashtag cards, which were promoted through the Tokio delivery service. Tokio’s staff also wore the specific hashtag throughout last week to inform clients about the campaign and raise awareness. The initiative was concluded with the #TimesUp celebratory night on 8 March under the general theme of “Celebrating Womanhood” and women’s achievements, where more than 250 people attended the restaurant and bar area.
